Redcar East railway station serves the town of Redcar in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. It is located on the Tees Valley Line and operated by Northern Rail who provide all passenger train services.
There are two trains per hour in each direction from the station during the day, to Saltburn eastbound and Middlesbrough & Darlington westbound with some of the latter continuing to Bishop Auckland. This drops to hourly in the evenings and on Sundays. Most services are formed using Class 142 Pacer DMUs.
Freight trains operating to and from Boulby also pass through the station.
